  • working for a multinational Engineering company based in Southeast London we are urgently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
  • also, where competent to carry out electrical, water, building fabric, planned , reactive and extra works
  • the role is based on the Greenwich site and requires site presence

Responsibility

  • advise the Engineering Team Leads that the budget and resource planning are adequate to deliver the annual Asset Care implementation plan
  • ability and competence to conduct a variety of building & facilities maintenance tasks including, L8, HVAC, AHUs & compressors where required
  • ensure that comprehensive maintenance records are kept in the form of completed and signed internal PPM sheets
  • mechanical service activities will include plumbing, mechanical fault diagnosis, minor installation works, manufacture of specialist parts where competent, completion of statutory servicing of site wide mechanical plant and completing statutory testing where required, certification of all works in accordance with the appropriate regulations and fault diagnosis of mechanical systems on site
  • ensure that suitable spares are available to carry out maintenance of the above plant, Inform the BES Manager if stock running low
  • ensure that dynamic Risk Assessments are completed for all tasks carried out where no specific Risk assessment is available to ensure safe working practices
