time served Maintenance Engineer ideally to HNC Level
experience of cement or similar process industry is essential
documentation, Instructions, Plans and Drawings
time served electrical apprenticeship or equivalent with associated technical qualifications or recognised equivalent
HVAC associated Qualification with F-GAS
rolling Stock preferred, however will consider Aerospace, HGV, Shipbuilding, Military Engineering or Heavy Plant
electrical: 3 years
maintenance: 4 years
completed a recognised Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship or hold Mechanical Engineering qualifications
experience in a similar environment; Industrial, Production or Manufacturing environment
experience with mechanical fitting work, within an industrial and/or manufacturing environment

working to Hanson Sustainability Policy
effective communications with Hanson personnel, sub-contractors, and suppliers
to assist electrical and production departments as and when required
health and Safety of self and others
you will be required to provide out of hours breakdown cover on a callout rota arranged with management team
safe and effective use of resources
assist with the co-ordination of planned shutdowns ensuring that all maintenance activities are carried out
to ensure that isolations and isolation procedures are accurately carried out
working within a shift pattern as part of a fault team
carrying out preventative & reactive maintenance
working on hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes and all mechanical production assets
reporting faults and issues picked up on routine preventative maintenance

assist in the analysis of breakdowns and establishing route courses and implementation of corrective action
low and high pressure hot water systems, pumps, boilers, valves etc
compressed air systems and general plant room maintenance

general plumbing Kitchen/toilet installations/fault-finding and repairs and mechanical equipment repairs
