Responsibility

shadow experienced Life Coaches during sessions to gain practical knowledge
assist in preparing for coaching sessions, including setting up materials and helping with follow-up tasks
participate in training and development programs to learn coaching techniques and methodologies
provide administrative support, including scheduling appointments, maintaining client records, and preparing session notes
begin to conduct individual coaching sessions under the supervision of an experienced coach, as skills and knowledge develop
reflect on coaching sessions and seek feedback to improve and develop coaching skills
manage and maintain a caseload of learners as agreed with your line manager and carry out regular learner interventions
inspire and motivate learners and identify any barriers and adapt to your learners’ needs
ensure marking and feedback to the learner is accurate and supports their development
contribute to the production of high quality learning materials
essential
functional Skills Level 2 in English, Maths and ICT or equivalent
excellent communication skills
experience of coaching to support learning
ability to plan, organise and prioritise workload
to deliver transformational activities and dedicated coaching support to young people in King's Lynn. As a Life Ready Coach you will deliver 1:1 coaching sessions and be responsible for holding and managing a case load
plan and deliver a range of life skills sessions and interventions to pupils of varying ages and abilities
work closely with pupils to identify their specific needs and develop bespoke support plans
foster positive relationships with pupils, parents/carers, and colleagues to create a supportive learning environment
monitor and assess pupil progress, providing feedback and support as necessary
