Requirements

  • must have previous helpdesk experience, within an FM or Building Services provider would be beneficial
  • at least 5 years’ experience within an FM or Building Services provider would be beneficial
  • previous scheduling or helpdesk experience is essential
  • knowledge of CAFM systems

  • communicate with clients regularly until tickets are resolved and closed
  • produce half-termly Helpdesk reports for the ICT Committee
  • create or suspend staff email accounts, reassign resources and update email groups

Responsibility

  • lead helpdesk support efforts relating to systems, ensuring queries are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions
  • keep users informed of changes and updates in technology systems and confidently respond to user requests and instructions
  • assist in all aspects of system development including ad-hoc reporting
  • assist with the maintenance of system documentation in accordance with agreed procedures and standards
  • support the implementation of changes, new functionality, and/or products into the client's core systems
  • assist in the testing and evaluation of new software releases, and in the dissemination and documentation of new software
  • deliver a first-class customer experience operating the help desk to resolve users’ queries and problems, including the maintenance of user accounts and delivery of periodic processing routines
  • install, upgrade and maintain computer/server hardware and software, manage virtual systems and apply automation processes
  • deal with telephone queries from customers requiring the progress of work requests
  • ensure that all holiday and sickness absence is covered by suitably trained and competent staff
