Responsibility


  • join Alliance Clinical Services as a Plastics Healthcare Assistant to deliver weekend waiting list initiative sessions at a location in Derby
  • assisting with patient care, including preparing patients for examinations and procedures
  • supporting the nursing and medical staff with clinical tasks
  • ensuring patient comfort and safety at all times
  • maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
  • providing emotional support to patients and their families
  • assisting with administrative tasks as needed
  • assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • support residents with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety at all times
  • help with meal preparation and feeding as required, promoting nutritional well-being
  • maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents’ conditions to the nursing staff
  • engage with residents in meaningful activities to enhance their quality of life
  • follow individual care plans and contribute to the development of these plans as necessary
  • ensure a clean and safe environment for all residents by adhering to health and safety protocols
  • communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to foster a supportive atmosphere
  • you will be supporting the nursing home and it’s residents by helping to provide duties such as comfort, interaction, and companionship
  • assisting of core general healthcare assistant duties such as moving and handling and basic life support
  • the work will be in a nursing home setting on either a temporary/ flexible basis with the opportunity for block shifts
