Responsibility


  • assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • support residents with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety at all times
  • help with meal preparation and feeding as required, promoting nutritional well-being
  • maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents’ conditions to the nursing staff
  • engage with residents in meaningful activities to enhance their quality of life
  • follow individual care plans and contribute to the development of these plans as necessary
  • ensure a clean and safe environment for all residents by adhering to health and safety protocols
  • communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to foster a supportive atmosphere
  • you will be supporting the nursing home and it’s residents by helping to provide duties such as comfort, interaction, and companionship
  • assisting of core general healthcare assistant duties such as moving and handling and basic life support
  • the work will be in a nursing home setting on either a temporary/ flexible basis with the opportunity for block shifts
  • are you a Band 3 Healthcare Assistant with Mental Health experience? We've got shifts available in Chester
  • act as a chaperone as required for clinicians
  • you will have or be working towards an NVQ level 3 in care or the equivalent clinical experience and an interest in caring for patients with chronic skin disease
  • lastly, we operate a 7-day TIA clinic service, seeing patients within 24-hours of a TIA for specialist assessment and treatment
  • able to alert trained staff of change in patient’s condition
  • the role will entail performing observations, helping patients with personal care needs, manual handling and helping to maintain a clean, tidy and well stocked environment
