Requirements

city and Guild/NTEC/ONC or similar qualifications in mechanical/electrical engineering
as a Field Service Engineer, you should have Mechanical/Electrical engineering experience – Essential
willing to undertake training as required to obtain and develop skills and knowledge base
be conversant with ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007, the Company’s Integrated Management System
5-10 years’ experience in semiconductor foundry technical interface role
experience collaborating with ASIC design in a positive manner is a key requirement
experience working with PDKs and collateral, such as Spice models, DRM/DRC, LVS, RC tech files, is critical
experience with process qualification and yield enhancement is a plus
hands-on, Autonomous and willing to grow its region territory
gross base pay range = 130,000 USD – 180,000 USD depending
variable bonus on objective = from 0 to 30,000 USD
positive, self- motivated, proactive individual
good basic education and ideally a relevant qualification in the electrical/ Electronic industry
ability to work on own initiative & as part of a team
alternatively able to demonstrate in depth knowledge through assessment
the ability to operate effectively under pressure in rapidly changing Environments & circumstances

Responsibility

undertake fault diagnosis, rectification and maintenance on electrical/mechanical equipment
complete and submit all relevant documentation accurately on a handheld device and within agreed timescales to meet Service Level Agreements
liaising with the customer, once work is allocated giving notice of visit with an agreed date and time
carry out service itinerary in accordance with Company and Service procedures, whilst seeking to optimise use of time and minimise associated costs by organizing and prioritising own workload
the Field Service Engineer should ensure that all tasks are carried out in compliance with relevant statutory legislation and local policies and codes of practice including Health and Safety, COSHH and safe working procedures, reporting any incidents
on arrival at the customer's premises, to inform staff of reason for visit and request permission before carrying out required work so tasks are undertaken in a professional and safe manner
be the Key Account Customer Relationship single point of Contact for all NAM based foundry business
manage Foundry local Partnership, deploy Marketing and Sales outbound marketing initiatives along with our Partners
drive and perform technically Customer’s tape-outs to foundry as well as post silicon services execution alongside Engineering and Supply Chain Operations
support PDK/Technology set-up, IP block/Supplier sourcing and advise process requirement, guide Customers from inception to formal GDS2 handover and mask-making
deploy the company’s pre-sales and post processes and support continuous improvement in coordination with Corporate Quality and Operations
be the DDTC/ITAR referent officer of the Company and single point of contact for US Authorities
maintenance, repair & overhaul of diesel engines and associated components
provide expertise to diagnose, analyse and rectify faults
carry out all work in accordance with manufacturer and industry standards
reporting of any faulty equipment in the correct manner
maintain all associated paperwork and systems as required
comply with the companies QHSE policies & procedures
report all accidents and incidents, including any near misses
observe & maintain Health and Safety and Environmental standards for themselves and work colleagues
