Requirements


  • relevant qualifications - QTS or equivalent
  • hold QTS/ Overseas Equivalent
  • have a ‘child workforce only’ DBS on the Update Service or willing to obtain one
  • to be eligible for this position you will also need proven classroom experience or training as a Early Years Teacher
  • you must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, as well as a PGCE or equivalent Teaching qualification, to be eligible for this Early Years Teacher role
  • additionally, you will need to have, or be eligible for, British QTS or equivalent to be considered for this Early Years Teacher job
  • the selected applicant will have either Qualified Teacher Status , Early Years Teacher Status , or Early Years Practitioner Status
  • prior employment experience in the Early Years sector
  • solid knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage
  • clear and concise pedagogical knowledge
  • capability to manage a team of professionals in providing high-quality care and education
  • knowledge of the legislative framework and Ofsted is required
  • minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent
  • sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to plan and deliver creative and educational activities

Responsibility


  • lucy Sparkles & Friends are looking for new London, Surrey and Essex based entertainers and teachers to work weekends and/or weekdays
  • our party entertainment takes place at weekends and during school holidays of which we have a high and ongoing demand
  • lucy Sparkles & Friends provides outstanding drama, music and dance classes and parties for young children
  • our classes are held on weekdays in nurseries, pre-schools and children’s centres
  • we are currently looking predominantly for party entertainers, as this is where our highest demand is
  • they progress weekly and are linked to the EYFS national curriculum
  • our party entertainment takes place at weekends and during school holidays

  • lucy Sparkles & Friends are looking for new London, Surrey and Essex based entertainers and teachers to work weekends and/or weekdays. We especially have an urgent need for teachers in North West London
  • lucy Sparkles & Friends are looking for new London, Surrey, Essex and Milton Keynes based entertainers and teachers to work weekends and/or weekdays
  • the starting salary is £17.50 per 30-minute teaching session and £53.75 per hour for parties
  • the ability to play keyboard, guitar, ukulele or another similar melodic instrument to an intermediate level is a bonus
  • pay will increase as experience is gained
  • whilst we are still working to build up nursery schedules for new Sparkles, this will be more of a gradual process than booking party work, which is in constant supply

  • the successful candidate will be a motivated, proactive, self-confident 'go getter' with good classroom management skills, a commitment to inspiring and engaging children in their early years and a clear and tuneful singing voice
