Requirements

4-8 yrs' experience as an Algo Execution Quant Dev with good knowledge of Execution Strategies
solid computer science knowledge
strong Java Server side development- Low latency development
full lifecycle development of front office trading platforms with ideal candidate focusing on significant development of high-frequency trading or pricing systems
knowledge of git and the Atlassian suite
regular contact with traders so good communications skills are essential
eFX Algo Execution experience preferred but will also consider a cash Equities & Futures background
AWS: 2 years

experience of the Front Arena 4 track
experience of custom model integration
experience of other Trading Systems
must be able to liaise and clearly communicate with colleagues
experience of interacting with end users in the financial industry
ability to work independently and solve business problems through own initiative
proven experience as a KDB Developer with a focus on algorithmic trading in an investment banking setting
proficiency in React, Redux and JavaScript
expertise in designing and developing high-performance systems using KDB/Q

Responsibility

working close with the Quant team building Execution, Risk Management and Pricing Algos
develop and maintain cutting edge trading, pricing and multi assets risk management platforms
java coding to a high standard taking into account low latency techniques
architecture design, stakeholder communication, and some project management
component testing using Junit
work on projects ranging from client-facing GUIs, server-side request handlers or reporting tools, and devops
integration testing support with the Automated Test team
work closely with Traders & Structuring teams, analysing trades, execution and ongoing measurement

front Arena Developer
our Client is looking to recruit several Sungard’s Front Arena Developers/Consultants
the role is to develop and support Front Arena applications through extending and integrating the core Front Architecture
develop highly visible applications within Front Arena
design and develop integrations with other trading and back office applications
support Trading Manager and the applications that utilize its output e.g. overnight risk/scenarios and Mark-to-Market
provide occasional support for other Front Arena developed applications
actively contribute in gaining application and business knowledge for the development team
you will have at least 3 to 5 years solid back ground of working with Sungard’s or FIS Global’s Front Arena product
collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust algorithmic trading systems using KDB technology
