  • ITIL Qualification or demonstrable experience of working within an ITIL environment

  • experience of developing Service Management process capabilities through ITSM Tools e.g. ServiceNow
  • effective conflict and issue resolution skills
  • experience of working with Projects in all areas of the solution delivery lifecycle
  • detailed understanding of project management methods and relevant MPS standards
  • ability to influence senior business personnel and senior executive management in challenging situations
  • experience of successfully design / managing Service Design activities for Projects
  • detailed understanding of Service Design, Service Architecture and Service Transition
  • excellent all-round communication skills, able to present to large and small groups alike
  • experience of delivering fully outsourced, multi supplier projects and programmes
  • familiarity with ITIL Service Design and Transition processes
  • excellent stakeholder and supplier management
  • experience of working within a public sector environment and public sector governance
  • deep knowledge of service support models and SLA's
  • familiarity with MPS governance structures
  • 5+ years of Service Architecture / Design experience

  • you'll be working on needs analysis - taking existing content, identifying content gaps and overlaps etc
  • develop and manage relationships with GDS
  • develop transition plans and attend planning meetings with contacts
  • actively develop and apply content and format strategies
  • be an advocate for the department to train and develop colleagues
  • working with subject matter experts and other stakeholders in the UK and abroad to advocate for good content design and roll out content improvements
  • to ensure that user requirements are met by designing services that meet their requirements
  • collaborate with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to create thoughtful solutions, mocks and secure stakeholder and leadership approval
  • lead and mentor others to grow UX design talent
  • provide expert guidance during build-out phase and maintain a high bar for fit and finish quality
  • increase adoption of user-centred design principles and Product Excellence at the team, product, or organizational level
  • conduct exploratory and evaluative user research to understand product needs, inform design decisions and partner with product to incorporate user feedback
  • act as a subject matter expert in UX design principles, user-centred product development methodologies, style guides, and research tools
  • advocate UX design
  • create design deliverables
  • communicate design approach to other designers or stakeholders
