  • registered Nurse with valid NMC PIN
  • proven experience of post-qualification practice in a health and social care setting with older people
  • previous experience of motivating, engaging and exercising leadership throughout the team
  • previous experience leading a team
  • strong business acumen and commercial understanding
  • great written and verbal skills for communication and understanding
  • good IT skills and confidence in computer based work
  • ability to implement action plans for improvements and build an excellent reputation
  • • Previous Deputy Home Manager experience

  • • Ability to identify referral pathway for safeguarding adult/abuse

Responsibility


  • ensuring that all residents receive quality person-centred care and that care plans are fully maintained
  • you will play a key role within the home to ensure the best possible person-centred care is delivered
  • supporting the Manager in the implementation of all policies, procedures and business objectives
  • preparing the staff duty rota to ensure appropriate staffing levels at all times
  • instructing staff in safe systems of work, fire safety and evacuation procedures, and inducting new staff
  • you will take responsibility for the running of the home in the absence of the Home Manager and ensure that the company's policies and procedures and all legal requirements are met
  • you will work to ensure that all staff members contribute to the best of their ability to the efficient running of the home
