Responsibility
ensuring that all residents receive quality person-centred care and that care plans are fully maintained
you will play a key role within the home to ensure the best possible person-centred care is delivered
supporting the Manager in the implementation of all policies, procedures and business objectives
preparing the staff duty rota to ensure appropriate staffing levels at all times
instructing staff in safe systems of work, fire safety and evacuation procedures, and inducting new staff
you will take responsibility for the running of the home in the absence of the Home Manager and ensure that the company's policies and procedures and all legal requirements are met
you will work to ensure that all staff members contribute to the best of their ability to the efficient running of the home
deploy staff in a way which maximises the support given for the needs of the residents

A luxury residential care home in Hampshire has an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Healthcare Assistant or Support Worker to join their team as a Non-Clinical Deputy Manager.
Just a short walk from the beachside, this smaller, purpose-built home provides residential, dementia and respite care for older adults in a charming coastal setting. As Deputy Manager, you will support the General Manager by assisting with the day-to-day running of the home, with admin & regulatory compliance, and with the management of a strong support team of HCAs and Senior HCAs so that residents always receive high-quality care and a premier living experience.
This is a full-time (40h) role for a Care Home Deputy Manager (non-clinical), days-only.
You will have:
