Responsibility


  • ensuring that all residents receive quality person-centred care and that care plans are fully maintained
  • you will play a key role within the home to ensure the best possible person-centred care is delivered
  • supporting the Manager in the implementation of all policies, procedures and business objectives
  • preparing the staff duty rota to ensure appropriate staffing levels at all times
  • instructing staff in safe systems of work, fire safety and evacuation procedures, and inducting new staff
  • you will take responsibility for the running of the home in the absence of the Home Manager and ensure that the company's policies and procedures and all legal requirements are met
  • you will work to ensure that all staff members contribute to the best of their ability to the efficient running of the home
  • deploy staff in a way which maximises the support given for the needs of the residents
  • to be the 'On Call’ point of contact in an emergency on a rota basis

  • to provide leadership to the administration, care, catering, housekeeping, laundry, maintenance and people management functions of the home
  • to carry out, and provide leadership in marketing the service, and selling its services at the agreed prices
  • be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals they support
  • ensure Service Users are at the heart of the care delivery and their wishes and preferences enhance their wellbeing
