Responsibility

must be GDC Registered
perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth
take and develop dental x-rays and other diagnostic images
assess patients' oral health and educate them on proper oral hygiene techniques
administer local anesthesia and apply fluoride treatments
assist the dentist during procedures and maintain accurate patient records
