Responsibility


  • lead and inspire a team in a supportive and collaborative environment
  • work closely with the practice owners to drive the business forward with a focus on growth and patient satisfaction
  • maintain and enhance our friendly, welcoming culture for both patients and staff
  • ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the practice, including managing the team / staff, rotas, HR, accounting, expense management, KPI tracking, business development, marketing activations, recruitment, stock management, patient coordination and quality control
  • oversee the day-to-day management of the clinic, ensuring smooth operation and high patient satisfaction
  • ensure the practice meets all health and safety standards, with support from the lead nurse for compliance-related matters
  • ensuring the smooth, efficient and compliant running of your dental practice - with a focus on patient safety at all times
  • providing support and direction to the team to enhance performance, skills and knowledge
  • plan & driving income targets for the practice - a commercial focus is key for the role
  • monitor KPIs & support clinicians to achieve Private and NHS targets
  • dealing promptly with issues when they arise along with the support of our head office functions
  • deliver staff training and development, hold 1-1's with all team members, performance managing
  • ensuring the provision of excellent service to patients, quality of service, cost and delivery of performance in line with company strategy, targets and mission statement
  • supporting the early stages of the practice integration into the business - a lot of the great work has been done, and we're looking for a great leader to continue it's journey
  • managing the clinical governance system and maintaining practice policies inc Health & Safety
  • promoting a team environment and culture that is committed to executing a first-class service to our patients
  • answer the telephone in the prescribed manner and welcome all patients arriving at the clinic
  • ensure that the appointment system is efficient and accurate, applying the SOE workflow principles as adopted by the clinic
  • collect and record patient payments
  • keep up to date with all practice documentation, including policies, protocols, procedures, and handbooks
