Responsibility

  • administer local anaesthesia as needed

  • follow strict infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment
  • ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible before their examination
  • sterilise dental instruments properly
  • conducting initial oral screenings
  • conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history
  • cleaning and helping protect patients’ teeth
  • identify conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontitis
  • educating patients of all ages on proper teeth care
