  • managing a small team of long estabished Contracts Managers
  • managing and developing relationships with estbalished and new clients
  • preparing quotations & estimates & winning additional works within established & new clients
  • managing the P&L relating to the delivery of New Build Construction & Refurbishment projects
  • scheduling & planning project programs using asset management software
  • appointing subcontractors packages of works
  • managing subcontractors
  • trouble shooting on projects
  • reviewing RAMS and associated documentation
  • ensuring Subcontract teams are suitably qualified and equipped to deliver work
  • engaging with specialist subcontractors & the supply chain
  • identifying and targeting new contracts
  • overseeing projects from pre-start through to completion, including defects period
  • monitoring and overseeing the site manager and their project, this will include visiting all projects at least once a week
  • highlighting any potential problems and proposing solutions to the construction team as well as the design team, if required
  • issuing, checking and chasing drawings and details sent for approval
  • ensuring site managers have obtained appropriate H&S information from contractors prior to their works commencing
  • reviewing RAMS submitted by contractors and ensuring they comply with the site safety plans
