Requirements

responsible for day to day management, efficient administrative function and professional care for residents

minimum of two years of experience in a Deputy Manager role is essential; previous experience as a Home Manager is preferred
NVQ Level 5 or an equivalent qualification, or a willingness to work towards it

Responsibility

ensure all staff are supported
provide motivational leadership, embed with a culture of excellence across all departments
develop an annual business plan and a longer term 5-10 year plan
provide budgetary/revenue/costs management and analyse of financial reports
lead a range of projects including estates and fundraising
develop, implement and keep refreshed a marketing strategy
act as the first point of contact for the Trustees and provide assurance to the Trustees via regular reports/dashboard, site inspections and Trustee meetings
lead the development and implementation of a robust workforce Human Resources management system including recruitment, L&D, retention plan and processes and in line with policies, procedures and statutory requirements
work with HR to recruit, retain, and manage staff effectively
conduct performance evaluations and provide professional development opportunities
financial Management: Oversee financial performance, including income, expenses, and profitability. Implement efficient management policies and procedures to ensure financial sustainability
team Leadership: Lead and develop a large multidisciplinary team, ensuring cross-organisational collaboration
staffing Management: Maintain adequate staffing levels and manage rotas in line with occupancy and budgetary requirements
resident and Family Care: Ensure that residents and their families have their needs met and their quality of life enhanced. Serve as the main point of contact for residents and relatives, addressing concerns and providing updates
operational Oversight: Manage daily operations, including senior management and clinical staff, while maintaining the highest standards of care and ensuring compliance with CQC and other statutory bodies
