  • proficiency in accounting Sage accounting software is essential

  • construction: 6 years

  • proven bookkeeping experience
  • expertise in Xero accounting software
  • experience with multi-currency transactions
  • excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
  • high attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

Responsibility


  • liaising with clients via phone and face to face
  • maintaining financial records
  • onboarding clients onto bookkeeping software and providing training
  • recording day-to-day transactions
  • preparing VAT returns
  • completing tax forms
  • bank reconciliations
  • processing sales invoices
  • communicating with HMRC
  • skills and Experience of a Bookkeeper
  • manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments
  • maintain accurate financial records using Sage accounting software
  • prepare monthly financial statements and reports for management review
  • reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
  • assist with budgeting and forecasting activities to support financial planning
  • ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards
  • bookkeeping for individuals and Ltd companies, taking the accounts to Trial Balance
  • bank, Sales ledger and Bought ledger reconciliations
  • assisting with the drafting of budgets, periodic management/client reports and cashflow reporting/forecasting
  • assisting with report building and with variance analysis
