Requirements

MRICS qualified
knowledge and understanding of RICS professional standards
excellent communication and organisation skills

dedicated with strong attention to detail and time management skills
5+ years' experience in an audit or operational role within a RICS regulated firm
IASME qualified
delivery of Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus accreditations
confidence in talking to both technical and non-technical audiences
sound knowledge of networking principles
good working knowledge of common vulnerabilities and ability to accurately explain their consequences and potential remediation
excellent practical knowledge of Windows, MacOs and Linux operating system
A recognised Social Work qualification
A valid Social Work England registration
have competent knowledge and experience of Quality Assurance, LADO, TM
A valid UK driving licence and car is essential to this role
fully qualified accountant with post qualification experience
knowledge of UK GAAP / FRS102

Responsibility

supporting the Audit Manager with the development of audit programmes and defining of audit criteria, as required
conducting independent audits by reviewing systems and documents and assessing compliance against defined audit criteria
identifying risks and issues
drafting reports with findings from each audit
communicating audit results to individuals and providing recommendations for improvement
delivering onsite Cyber Essentials work within the UK
delivering technical assessments
designing and documenting the appropriate delivery processes and procedures and providing any supporting materials required
training colleagues to carry out the Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus onsite tests
making decisions on test specification interpretation or, where appropriate, referring questions to Accreditation Bodies for clarification
implementing any changes to the test specification into current delivery processes
working on other cyber security consulting projects
to provide professional advice to senior stakeholders as part of internal audit’s advisory function
to ensure that the service is delivered in accordance with agreed professional audit standards, codes of conduct and core council values

supervising team of QA and Practice development roles
