Requirements


  • A BSc or equivalent qualification in Audiology
  • previous clinical experience of working as an Audiologist in a Hospital or private setting
  • HCPC or RCCP registration is desirable
  • HCPC Registered
  • minimum of 18 months postgraduate experience
  • minimum of two years postgraduate experience
  • 3 month locum assignment to start as soon as possible
  • previous clinical experience performing a similar role within the NHS
  • hold a full UK driving licence
  • must have right to work in the UK
  • demonstrate a high degree of empathy and enjoy working field based with confidence to work independently following thorough induction
  • full UK driving licence
  • HCPC registered as a Hearing Aid Dispenser or eligible to register
  • must be flexible to travel roughly one hour or 50 miles in any direction of central Plymouth
  • wax removal Via micro-suction training will be provided
  • right to work in the UK
  • right to work in the United Kingdom
  • driving licence required with access to own vehicle is much preferred
  • right to work in the UK required
  • this is a multi-site role each sites is easily commutable, no moving equipment between site, driving not required

Responsibility


  • ongoing assignment to start as soon as possible

  • managing aftercare service appointments and addressing hearing aid repairs
  • participating in continuous training and upholding current Continuing Professional Development requirements
  • performing additional administrative tasks as necessary
