- to oversee the efficient receipt, storage, transfer and despatch of raw materials and finished products
- identify areas of improvement and implement solutions to gain efficiencies
- work closely with the Technical team to ensure full traceability of raw materials and finished goods at all times
- plan and execute the loading and unloading of 3PL deliveries and shunts
- leading a team of warehouse operatives who are responsible for servicing all internal and external customers, the Warehouse Manager will be responsible for the development of the warehouse team and function efficiencies
- lead a team of operatives across multiple functions, including pick for production, pick for finished products and drivers within the distribution team
- the Warehouse Manager will be responsible for the health and safety of all colleagues and/or visitors in the warehouse, demonstrating full traceability, control and accuracy of all stock whilst adhering to food safety policies and procedures
- ensure stock is accurately recorded and managed in accordance with best practice
