- reporting to the Registered Manager, your team will support people to achieve their goals in life and will actively seek out opportunities for them to develop their skills and confidence through a variety of staff involvement, activities and other initiatives
- assess and ensure the quality of care given is of a high standard by supporting the manager to implement processes
- we're looking for someone with leadership skills and hands-on experience within the Health and Social Care sector, ideally experienced supporting adults with mental health conditions and dementia
- identify and implement improvements within the service
- undertake direct care to the people we support as required
- contribute to and have oversight of reviewing reports, records and care plans to ensure they remain compliant with legal and organisational requirements
Requirements
- experience working with individuals with a learning disability, autism and associated complex needs, such as challenging behaviour, mental health needs
- must hold an NVQ Level 3, ideally hold or be working towards NVQ Level 5
- ability to be flexible with regard to working hours
