  • we work in partnership with the people we support, their families and friends and will encourage their active involvement, ensuring their views are listened to and acted upon

Requirements

  • relevant health or social care qualification
  • excellent IT, written & verbal communication and listening skills
  • ability to collaborate and work professionally with service users, families, and involved professionals
  • experience in supervising and supporting staff, and deploying staff resources efficiently to meet the needs of the service
  • knowledge and skills to ensure the safe management and administration of medication
  • experience working with individuals with a learning disability, autism and associated complex needs, such as challenging behaviour, and mental health needs
  • ability to conduct holistic needs and risk assessments with service users and devise support and risk management plans
  • A warm, person-centered and respectful approach to working with people with a learning disability, autism or associated complex needs such as challenging behaviour, and mental health needs
