Responsibility
- respond and support with employee queries related to payroll, benefits and HR policies
- recruitment: Assist the Talent Acquisition team with recruitment, onboarding and offboarding processes
- HR Systems and Software: Proficiency with HR software, applicant tracking systems , and onboarding tools. Maintain payroll processing systems and records
- reporting: Assist staff with the preparation of data reports
- generalist HR: Support the HR Manager and HR team with day to day HR tasks such as, maintaining accurate employee records including new hires, terminations, sickness records and contract changes
Requirements
- demonstrable experience in a similar HR and Payroll position
- CIPD Level 3 or equivalent, or Bachelors degree in HR, Business Administration or a related field preferred
- demonstrable experience in a similar position supporting a HR Manager or team
- knowledge and understanding of HR principles, policies and UK employment law
- hands on experience handling employee and payroll information with discretion and accuracy
- strong communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- experience using a diverse range of HR and payroll tools
