- prospero Health & Social Care are looking for Support Workers to engage in temporary contracts to deliver the very best standards and quality of care to Children and Young People with additional needs in the Southampton area
- respite care for an individual that needs support while a family needs to step away temporarily
- this role will involve caring for these often-vulnerable individuals, assisting them with day-to-day tasks, and supporting them as and when required, providing a safe and nurturing environment for children and young people
- you will implement care plans in collaboration with the team you are working with, support young people in developing their living skills and access education / therapy, promote positive behaviour and helping individuals to manage their emotions and behaviours effectively, and help build positive relationships with the individuals themselves, their families and other professionals working in care

Requirements
- 1 year of experience in the UK care sector
- experience as a Support Worker
- experience supporting children and young people in a professional environment
- driver with access to a vehicle
- enhanced DBS on the Update Service
