carrying out daily and weekly checks to ensure legal road worthiness at all times. Accurately record driving hours
as a Tanker Driver , your responsibilities will include
accurately report and record defects. Record nil defects and action defects immediately
recording quantities, types and destinations of Bio-solids transported to comply with relevant legislation and IMS procedure
as a Tanker Driver , you will be responsible for
driving and operating Bio-solids tankers and ancillary equipment to facilitate removal of Bio-solids from wastewater treatment works and delivery to reception centres

Requirements

ideally have 2 years experience of driving
understand the importance of being a member of a high performing team
possess a HGV Class 1 driving licence
able to take responsibility for own actions whilst working ‘in the field’ following procedures and guidelines
ability to travel as job requires and have a geographical appreciation of the operating area
able to work to deadlines without compromising quality
adaptable to changing priorities
experience in waste tankering is desirable but not essential
