Responsibility

collaborate with other construction professionals, such as architects and plumbers, to ensure electrical systems are properly installed

carry out installation of solar PV systems electrical wiring, testing, installation of main switches and other standard residential electrical work
adhere to all Flexi-orb, Napit, HIP and/or MCS where required
act as site team-leader during installations, ensuring efficient, safe, and quality work with adherence to MCS regulations, best practice and regulatory requirements
monitor and assess quality of solar PV installations carried out by Green Energy Solar Panel installers and contractors, including regular desktop and on-site audits of installations
remain up to date with requirements and best practice relating to solar PV design and installations and implement changes when necessary to ensure installations meet standards
liaising with the Pimlico team, providing estimates, opportunities, and sales leads
ideally a minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a domestic environment carrying out test and inspection works
repair of domestic electrics such as sockets, lighting, fuses, consumer units etc
