Responsibility

  • collaborate with other construction professionals, such as architects and plumbers, to ensure electrical systems are properly installed
  • note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. The employee may be required to perform other related duties as assigned
  • carry out installation of solar PV systems electrical wiring, testing, installation of main switches and other standard residential electrical work
  • adhere to all Flexi-orb, Napit, HIP and/or MCS where required
  • act as site team-leader during installations, ensuring efficient, safe, and quality work with adherence to MCS regulations, best practice and regulatory requirements
  • monitor and assess quality of solar PV installations carried out by Green Energy Solar Panel installers and contractors, including regular desktop and on-site audits of installations
  • remain up to date with requirements and best practice relating to solar PV design and installations and implement changes when necessary to ensure installations meet standards
  • liaising with the Pimlico team, providing estimates, opportunities, and sales leads
  • ideally a minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a domestic environment carrying out test and inspection works
