we own and manage c.7,500 homes in the east of England, working closely with other agencies and stakeholders within our communities
we have an exciting, new opportunity to join our team as a Tenancy Compliance Officer, on a permanent full time basis

reporting to the Tenancy Enforcement Team Leader, you will work proactively with tenants and our Neighbourhood & Estates and our Compliance teams to identify appropriate actions that need to take place to help prevent and reduce antisocial behaviour and tenancy breaches including no access issues
you will produce court applications using defined particulars and be the first point of contact for our resident services teams to support them with the best course of action to resolve tenancy breaches
Requirements
outline of Key Responsibilities
work with our servicing and compliance team to produce and obtain no-access injunctions
investigating property ownership anomalies, accessing Land Registry, reviewing leases and titles for compliance and ownership responsibilities
supporting our Neighbourhood & Estates team to take appropriate action against anti-social behaviour complaints, issues of tenancy fraud and any other tenancy enforcement as required
we are looking for someone who has
you will be proactive to investigate potential breaches of tenancy conditions and ensure appropriate action is taken to resolve matters, including serving Notices of Seeking Possession, drafting and reviewing legal documentation including witness statements and pleadings, applying for injunctions or other legal action and at-tending court hearings
you will work with the Tenancy Enforcement team leader to determine course of action and make the relevant legal applications in line with processes and legal budgets
knowledge and understanding of current legislation in relation to housing issues, particularly landlord and tenant law within social housing
