Responsibility

  • authorise GSL and P medicines sales
  • ensure medications are accurately dispensed and in a timely manner
  • ensure that all prescriptions are filled correctly and in accordance with the law with clinical and accuracy checks
  • maintain accurate records of all medications dispensed
  • provide customer service and answer questions about medications
  • communicate with physicians and other healthcare providers regarding medication orders
  • ensure day to day running of pharmacy is done so safely and effectively
  • work closely and report to the superintendent
