Requirements


  • 3-5 years of experience in visual merchandising, preferably in the Cosmetics industry
  • passionate about retail and in-store visual merchandising with an understanding of luxury beauty
  • extensive knowledge of product placement and visual display, as well as the ability to adapt and communicate
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • strong attention to detail and a keen eye for design aesthetics
  • experience with 3D drawings and CAD software is desirable
  • knowledge of visual merchandising techniques and trends
  • A passion for design and creativity
  • full driving licence as travel across the UK will be required
  • have an understanding and present solutions for a sales floor from both a visual & commercial view to maximise sales opportunities
  • have a good understanding of colour pallets & styles for coordinating room sets whilst using the company relativity document
  • the ability to implement detailed floor and range plans, whilst being aware of customer flow and stock density
  • comfortable using power tools
  • demonstrate creativity & be up-to-date on current trends, whilst happy to follow company-lead consistency in terms of presentation and merchandising
  • working away from home on projects which can include, new store opening, store refits, showroom floor relays and supporting other team members
  • due to the size of the region nights away from home will be required. Hotels and meal allowance and breakfast are included
  • good planning & time management skills as often working to deadlines

Responsibility


  • develop and implement visual merchandising strategies that align with the brand's objectives and target audience
  • develop and implement visual merchandising strategies that align with the brand’s objectives and target audience
  • create eye-catching window displays, in-store displays, and floor plans that highlight product features and benefits
  • create and implement a visual merchandising strategy for the stores
  • collaborate with the marketing team to ensure visual merchandising aligns with promotional campaigns
  • continuously research and keep up to date with current design trends and innovative merchandising techniques
  • utilise 3D drawings and CAD software to create mock-ups and designs for store layouts and visual displays
  • monitor and analyse sales data to identify opportunities for visual merchandising improvements
  • coordinate with global teams for relevant site drawings and specifications needed for execution of merchandising fixtures in store
  • working alongside the VM manager to develop VM strategy
  • overseeing the design and implementation of in-store displays in-line with the UK marketing calendar
  • supporting during in-store launches and refits, ensuring that VM guidelines are followed
  • reviewing VM activity regularly
  • managing the VM budget and updating budget trackers
  • managing POs
  • any other ad-hoc tasks that are needed to support the team
  • the main purpose is to implement and maintain the Visual Merchandise strategy throughout the group, whilst achieving an exceptional high standard of display and merchandising execution that customers come to expect from visiting a Furniture Village store
  • liaise with the customer support team to gather insights on customer preferences and feedback
  • curate and design visually appealing product displays to enhance the overall shopping experience in store
  • ensure consistency in branding and visual elements across all digital platforms
