Responsibility

interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine the appropriate installation methods for structural steel components
organize and coordinate the assembly and erection of steel structures according to project schedules and deadlines
operate various hand and power tools, including drills, grinders, and welding equipment, to fabricate and install steel components
rig, lift, and position steel beams, columns, and other structural elements using cranes, hoists, and rigging equipment
ensure the alignment, levelness, and stability of steel structures during the erection process
weld and bolt steel components together according to project requirements and industry standards
perform quality inspections to verify the integrity and strength of erected steel structures
able to use machines
inspect and assess steel components for defects or damage, reporting any issues to the supervisor
collaborate with other team members, including crane operators and riggers, to ensure smooth and efficient operations
