Responsibility

  • implementation and adhering to all health and safety policies and complete all paperwork relating to health and safety
  • interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine the appropriate installation methods for structural steel components
  • organize and coordinate the assembly and erection of steel structures according to project schedules and deadlines
  • operate various hand and power tools, including drills, grinders, and welding equipment, to fabricate and install steel components
  • rig, lift, and position steel beams, columns, and other structural elements using cranes, hoists, and rigging equipment
  • ensure the alignment, levelness, and stability of steel structures during the erection process
  • weld and bolt steel components together according to project requirements and industry standards
  • perform quality inspections to verify the integrity and strength of erected steel structures
  • able to use machines
