will be educated to HNC/HND Civil Engineering or Degree standard desirable
extensive Highways/Infrastructure experience
previous experience as an Agent with a main civil engineering contractor on projects up to £5 to £10m
strong commercial awareness and ability to manage costs, customers and supply chain
high familiarisation with HS&E Standards
successful experience at a management engineering level in construction specifically in civil engineering and/or utilities
demonstrated application of growing commercial and contractual knowledge
experience of working in a cost-conscious environment
good people management experience
experience in stakeholder’s management and managing subcontractors
relationship building with external parties is a critical requirement
significant civil engineering technology knowledge with significant previous experience
previous experience on highways based projects
previously worked on heavy civil based project is essential
previously worked on water project is beneficial
previously managed site teams & packages of work
quality Assurance
experience with heavy civils projects
