experience of service charges principles and reporting
experienced working as part of a team as week as problem solving and working on their own
ability to add value through business focused financial advice
proven experience and ability to deliver excellent customer service
proven time management and prioritisation skills
insurance
proven experience in Business Partnering
self-motivated and driven
strategic mind
excellent IT skills, including accounting systems and Management Information
qualified Accountant with post qualification London market insurance experience
reinsurance knowledge highly desirable

Responsibility

acting as key liaison point between Finance and the business, building in depth understanding of different business areas and performance priorities
supporting the construction of business cases through financial challenge and the identification of commercial implications of options considered
lead on the consolidation of the monthly management accounts pack
managing, developing and motivating a small team
developing a deep knowledge of diverse business areas, their needs and priorities, looking at the bigger picture to make sure that the business understands the financial implications of decisions and available choices
leading on financial reporting, including analysing financial information and preparing summary reporting, ensuring that budget holders can make decisions based on accurate financial information

lead on the Business Partnering function
support managers and wider team in budgeting, financial performance reporting, forecasting, financial analysis, Value for Money, and benchmarking
providing high level financial insights and support to the organisation
challenge business assumptions in forecasting and planning
assist in financial planning, accurate forecasting, and the annual budgeting exercise
support stakeholders to develop a suitable reporting framework
provide timely reporting and analysis of performance of the business performance
financial analysis and complex reporting
qualified with an Accountancy body such as ACCA, CIMA or ACA
delivering detailed MI to the Board
assisting with the Annual Budget & Quarterly Forecast
senior stakeholder engagement
producing reports and analysis on Re-Insurance MI
