  • an SEA Group employee with minimum 6 months with the group
  • proven leadership skills in delivering operational planning or strategic campaign analysis
  • detailed knowledge of the Canadian defence industry and stakeholders
  • worked in British Defence industry to support understanding of parent company
  • worked in Canadian Defence industry to support Canadian business growth
  • detailed knowledge of naval military doctrine and operating concepts within a tier 1 NATO nation
  • an experienced sales manager with a successful track record in developing new business with prime contractors and system integrators in the Naval sector
  • comprehensive understanding of Anti Submarine Warfare, Mine Warfare and wider underwater Battlespace, with operational experience
  • operational understanding of ship or submarine combat systems
  • experience with underwater effectors, specifically Light Weight Torpedo weapon systems
  • experience working within a company providing SaaS, HR Services, Legal Services, Compliance, would be a huge advantage
  • able to lead from the front and by example
  • developed and implemented strategic sales plans
  • strong forecasting and reporting ability
  • proven use of sales methodology and sales process, including CRM
  • ability to train, develop, mentor and challenge team members
  • demonstrates a passion and enthusiasm for success, excellent communication skills, strong commercial awareness, time management and organisational skills, alongside a solution mindset
  • 5+ year’s experience managing field-based Business Development teams

  • ● Performance Management: Monitor team and individual performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes
  • ● Team Development: Oversee the current team while also leading recruitment efforts to match our growth objectives
  • apply a structured methodology to shape and define the overall change management strategy and approach for the programme
  • identify and analyse programme stakeholders, understanding their interest and involvement with the change
  • assess change impacts and complete relevant assessments
  • conduct a training needs assessment in order to develop the approach and detailed plans for training requirements
  • own and deliver programme communications in accordance with the communication plan
