Responsibility


  • ownership of the revenue forecast for your clients, ensuring group and UK GAAP revenue recongnition rules consistently apply
  • understand the importance of cashflow to the business including the impact of working capital
  • own all company-wide revenue recognition, ensuring compliance with US GAAP reporting
  • develop good internal relationships and become the main point of contact to your ACM teams for all queries and training
  • ensure revenue recognition policies are always up to date & compliant
  • undertake analysis of open jobs and ensure regular job closing
  • provide monthly revenue and deferred revenue analysis to C Suite
  • manage the month end close process for all revenue streams
  • partner cross functionally involving pre-contract reviews with account teams, Commercial / Legal teams and VPs
  • work with & manipulate large volumes of data
  • continually roll out new processes and controls, automating as much as possible
  • mentor and develop a progressive & ambitious FinOps team, continuing to grow & expand as you see fit

  • oversee the collection and validation of fees data from firms, using a mix of automated and manual processes
  • responsibility for all FCA invoicing, including on account and periodic fees and sundry invoicing
  • are you interested in gaining a deep understanding in fees policy?
  • the Revenue team is responsible for collecting data, modelling fees and invoicing fee payers, to raise the Annual Funding Requirement for the FCA each year
  • in addition, we operate a shared service collecting fees and levies for eight other regulatory organisations including the Prudential Regulation Authority, Financial Services Compensation Scheme levy, Financial Ombudsman Service and the Money Advice Service
  • oversight of month end reports, reporting to internal and external stakeholders on current debt and performance against forecasts
