strong experience and understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle
strong SQL querying skills and ability to interrogate and analyse databases and data structures
experience of maintaining and executing test automated frameworks
experience testing Web Services and APIs using tools such as Selenium, Postman and SoapUI
ability to explore and traverse APIs, being familiar with Open API specifications
fluent in JSON and XML structures and notation, able to create and edit API requests and familiar with http error codes
test automation experience

Responsibility

QA Engineer – £600 Per Day – 6 Month Contract – Fully Remote
design, production and management of test plans, test cases and test scripts using TFS
executing Functional Test within sprints
raising software defects with the developers and collaborating to resolve within the sprint
leading and supporting business testers in planning and executing UAT, IAT and PIV
execution and maintenance of test automation frameworks
ensuring development and testing activities follow the procedures outlined within relevant policies
attend and by a vocal contributor to Agile events
test automation
quality Engineering
design and process reviews
create test data and strategy
any other duties as requested by management
design, build and carry out effective load testing
candidates to ideally hold active SC clearance, also have a depth of public sector experience working to Government Digital Service standards
use Cypress skills to create and run automation regression tests
write Test Scripts for the service
maintain technical knowledge of Javascript / Typescript, GraphQL
work to QA best practice and an established Test regime as part of a close knit multi disciplinary team
