Responsibility


  • develop and implement efficient accounts payable processes, procedures, and controls to improve productivity and accuracy
  • review and verify invoices for appropriate documentation, accuracy, and adherence to company policies
  • manage the accounts payable team, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback to ensure high-quality work and professional development
  • maintain and reconcile accounts payable ledgers and vendor accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of records
  • management and review of all payments - both AP and non-AP related
  • collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Procurement, Facilities & IT, to streamline processes, optimise vendor relationships and improve overall Accounts Payable performance
  • management of the full Purchase Ledger function and development of the team
  • ensure work is completed within agreed targets set
  • reviewing invoice coding
  • monitor and analyse queries invoices
  • lead, build and develop team members to ensure they are fully supported in the role and they reach their full potential
