5 years’ experience as a pipefitter welder
must have own tools and purging equipment
must be able to read and work from drawings
must have a valid safety passport
ideally will have food industry experience but will consider candidates from a different industry
mechanical knowledge to understand pipe system layouts and functions
proficiency in soldering, welding, and brazing techniques
ability to read and interpret schematics accurately
strong skills in assembling and plugging pipe systems
experience in stick welding for joining pipes securely
capability to maintain and repair pipe systems efficiently
pipefitting / Welding: 3 years
pipefitting: 3 years
previous food production or FMCG project experience
TIG welding of dairy processed pipework experience
codings preferred but not essential
CSCS card preferred but not essential
IPAF card preferred but not essential

we are looking for experienced Pipefitter Welders to join our Clients food production site based in Plymouth
the job is to start in the New Year and will last for 8/9 months
you will be TIG welding on dairy processed pipework
collaborate with other construction professionals, such as electricians and HVAC technicians, to ensure proper coordination of work
