Responsibility


  • provide pensions legislative knowledge
  • keep stake holders up to date, share concerns and propose solutions where appropriate
  • work on a large portfolio of DB, DC and hybrid schemes
  • regularly review and maintain scheme governance documentation
  • performing various Defined Contribution administration tasks e.g., handling of new entrants, leavers, retirements, transfers and deaths
  • participating in annual projects
  • ensuring documentation is scheme specific
  • updating relevant pension administration databases and systems
  • responding to member queries in writing and on the telephone
  • performing manual benefits calculations
  • checking the work of more junior staff and provide them with informal training
  • prioritising work to ensure delivery in accordance with client Service Level Agreements
  • completing a range of administration functions within the pensions team including client onboarding, contribution processing and benefit payment
  • to promptly and professionally communicate with clients and scheme members on queries when required via letter, e-mail and telephone
