  • essential Criteria
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to develop excellent working relationships both internally and externally
  • experience in implementing and embedding payroll systems into a large and complex organisation
  • experience using Workday HRIS software is advantageous but not essential
  • 3 years experience in payroll
  • experience processing payroll on Workday is advantageous but not essential
  • excellent attention to detail

  • payroll qualification is desirable but not essential
  • at least 2 years of solid work experience within a Payroll and HR role

  • excellent knowledge of Payroll & CIS processing

  • you will deal with a wide range of queries including absence, statutory sick pay, average holiday pay and auto enrolment
  • you will support payroll runs across the company
  • you will also deal with HMRC, CMS, DWP and employee queries
  • as a Payroll Officer you will be responsible for preparing and inputting data into the payroll system, ensuring accuracy and confidentially of information
  • to carry out other appropriate duties as assigned by the Payroll Team Leader
  • this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced payroll oficer to join a large business as their standalone payroll specialist
  • this role will be based out of Waltham Abbey on the border of London, Hertfordshire & Essex
  • this role is paying up to £43,000 and is based in the Waltham Abbey area of North London / Hertfordshire / Essex
  • my client is offering flexible hybrid working with 3 days a week in the office and 2 days a week at home
  • to be considered for this Payroll Officer position you will have previous experience of managing the complete payroll process for a large number of staff
  • my client is a group of 7 businesses with a total staff count of 650 people across the UK, and this standalone Payroll Manager position is responsible for overseeing all payroll activity, reconciliations, and reporting
  • coming from a similar-sized background you will have solid experience with a mainstream payroll software application. Ideally, you will have some experience with IRIS Cascade, but if not, full training will be provided
  • in addition to hybrid working , my client can offer flexible start & finish hours to work around commuting & family commitments
