  • full-time served apprenticeship
  • essential qualifications - BTEC National or City & Guilds and HNC
  • at least 5 years of industrial experience in a busy manufacturing environment
  • electrical Maintenance Engineer
  • completion of a nationally recognised apprenticeship
  • city & Guilds / ONC / HNC in electrical engineering
  • 18th Edition wiring regs preferred, minimum 17th Edition
  • experience of working in a heavy engineering environment
  • experience of working on the following: Electrical distribution systems, 3 phase & single phase systems, control systems, PLCs, drive systems
  • hold an engineering qualification
  • electrical Engineering Qualification
  • maintenance Engineer must be Electrically biased
  • electrically biased maintenance engineer
  • ideally the Maintenance Electrician will be electrically biased
  • electrical Bias
  • experience of working within a fast-paced environment and can work under pressure
  • multi-skilled engineering background
  • maintenance Engineer MUST have an Electrical qualification
  • electrical Engineering qualification
  • the Maintenance Electrician will need to be from any indsutrial OR facilities background

Responsibility


  • compliance with Company Environmental, Health, and Safety procedures
  • completion of planned preventative maintenance tasks
  • maintenance/repair of equipment during breakdown situations
  • the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting manufacturing by maintaining equipment on breakdowns and carrying out planned preventative maintenance as per schedules
  • they will ensure compliance with Company Environmental, Health, and Safety procedures, and liaise across all areas of the organization to achieve production priorities

  • procure and manage contract resource to ensure prompt and cost effective recovery from breakdown
  • facilitate optimal performance by working flexibly within the team and the context of the site, undertaking maintenance at short notice
  • ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements during remedial actions
  • perform preventive maintenance tasks on electrical equipment to prevent breakdowns
  • responsible for repairs, servicing, and maintenance of all electrical equipment
  • everyday is different so you must be flexible to meet the needs of the role
