Requirements

possess your reliable vehicle with the necessary locksmith tools and equipment
excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure
strong communication and interpersonal abilities with a customer-focused approach
preferred possession of a valid locksmith license and relevant certifications
previous experience as a locksmith is desired but optional, as we offer a complete training package; we are open to candidates with a strong interest in locksmithing and a willingness to learn
MLA membership preferred, but not essential
skilled in all types of work associated with being a locksmith, i.e., non-destructive entry, fault finding, lock fitting, and identification
electrical and mechanical skills preferable
excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, good IT knowledge
high strength of self-motivation and self-discipline
ability to work under pressure
commitment to excellent customer service and take pride in your work
strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask
proven experience as a Locksmith or in a similar role is preferred
strong knowledge of various types of locks, keys, safes, and security systems

strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing high-quality service
good communication skills to interact effectively with clients
A valid driving licence is advantageous for travel between job sites
possession of a high school diploma or equivalent qualification

Responsibility

stay up to date on new products, services, and company policies
install, repair, and maintain a variety of locks, keys, and security systems for residential and commercial properties
respond to emergency lockout situations promptly and professionally
provide expert advice to clients regarding security measures and locking systems
conduct assessments of existing locks and security systems to recommend upgrades or replacements as necessary
maintain accurate records of services performed and inventory of locks and keys
stay updated on the latest locksmithing techniques, tools, and technologies
ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations pertaining to locksmith services
deliver prompt and reliable emergency lockout services
install, repair, and maintain locks and cutting-edge security systems
open locked doors and safes
assess security needs and recommend appropriate solutions
be prepared for extended shifts, including night duties, to meet emergency service demands
