Responsibility


  • assisting in the detection and resolution of general IT hardware/software/network/infrastructure issues
  • assisting the IT Team and 3rd party providers with small-scale IT project tasks as directed by the Head of IT or the Senior IT and Operations Officer
  • responsible for ensuring incidents and requests are escalated to the appropriate teams in a timely manner
  • \"Ensuring an excellent level of teaching and learning through the use of ICT\"
  • provide an excellent level of customer service to our Trust’s staff and students
  • IT systems support across a cluster of schools
  • support an active ITIL based helpdesk
  • support a wide range of hardware and software solutions across a variety of teaching and learning environments
  • be part of large and exciting new IT projects across the Trust and in your cluster of schools

  • due to the nature of the role certain tasks may need to be undertaken out of hours and at weekends a certain level of flexibility is required
  • support the day-to-day arrangements for the delivery and collection of repairable items to suppliers
  • installation of hardware / software as required
  • preparing user documentation to assist staff and student in the use of the system
  • responsible for IT support activities
  • support senior and junior developers on ground-breaking projects and cutting-edge development activities
