Responsibility


  • assisting with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems and networks
  • providing technical support to staff and students, resolving issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity
  • helping to maintain the school's IT inventory and record-keeping processes
  • supporting ongoing IT projects and initiatives aimed at improving technological resources within the school
  • assisting in the management of security and access permissions for users
  • contributing to the documentation of IT processes and procedures
  • staying informed about emerging technologies and best practices in IT support
  • support in pre arranged out of hours support for events and IT project implementations
  • assisting in the detection and resolution of general IT hardware/software/network/infrastructure issues
  • assisting the IT Team and 3rd party providers with small-scale IT project tasks as directed by the Head of IT or the Senior IT and Operations Officer
  • responsible for ensuring incidents and requests are escalated to the appropriate teams in a timely manner

  • provide an excellent level of customer service to our Trust’s staff and students
  • IT systems support across a cluster of schools
  • support an active ITIL based helpdesk
