Responsibility

production of documentation in accordance with client requirements and broker instruction
production of client documentation in accordance with terms agreed with Underwriters
handle client enquiries by telephone and email in a timely fashion
maintain accurate files and records
to obtain a good working knowledge of the company’s computer systems
to take responsibility for the daily management of workloads and meeting deadlines
compliance with company policies and procedures
understand and implement market initiatives
provide assistance to other departments when necessary
assisting Senior Broker/Producers with the building of new business portfolio
attending client meetings and conferences as appropriate
reconcile accounts, process and debit premiums and handle closings
regular feedback to senior brokers and divisional management in respect of ongoing accounts and market conditions
maintain up-to-date and orderly files
making payment to XIS using XMP/repository under terms of trade and reconciling accounts, keeping accurate records
liaise with the internal accounts team
sending out quotes on request and dealing with related enquiries
utilise in-house, Lloyd’s and Company market systems including Brokasure, CLASS, LORS and bespoke computer systems
producing documentation including cover notes, debit notes, slips, letters, and correspondence
manage and undertake assigned project work to time scales as directed
