Requirements


  • at least 2 years’ experience as an administrator or a similar role in an IFA/wealth management firm
  • at least 2 years’ experience as an administrator in an IFA/wealth management firm
  • experience as an administrator in an IFA/wealth management firm, or in a similar role in Financial Services
  • confidence when liaising with clients and producing documentation
  • strong communication and IT skills
  • ideally holding or working towards R0 qualifications
  • IFA Administrator: 1 year
  • IFA Administration: 1 year
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • ideally, you have completed or are working towards the Diploma in Financial Planning; equivalent experience will also be considered

Responsibility


  • reporting directly to the Head of Financial, you will be required to assist the lead consultant and other advisers
  • adding new client data onto back-office system
  • sending Letters of Authority and regularly following up with the providers
  • liaising with clients and providers where appropriate
  • processing fund switches and withdrawals
  • booking in client calls, fact find meetings and sending relevant documents
  • adding and updating new business and fees onto back-office system
  • dealing with telephone and postal queries
  • this is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous IFA experience to join a supportive and collaborative team where their training and future development will be made a priority
  • processing new business, which includes anti money laundering checks and follow through to completion of the application process either paper or electronic
  • IFA practice based in Chorley require an additional IFA Administrator
  • previous financial services administration experience is required
  • assisting the Operations Manager, advisers and others as required in the development of relationships with existing and new clients
  • managing a bank of consultants and their clients providing first class customer service and excellent administrative support
  • dealing with routine correspondence including contact with clients, their advisers and product providers both by postal correspondence, e-mail and telephone
  • daily contact for nominated adviser , updating and liaising to conclude work related tasks
  • transacting all business efficiently and within the deadlines to the standards set by the company
  • prepare client packs, brochures, applications and anything required for a client meeting
  • duties include processing new business, proactive on going client management, servicing existing business, platform based work, obtaining illustrations and regular contact with clients and providers
  • ensure all business is processed to meet the month end and year end deadlines
