minimum of 10 years of experience in finance operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
proven track record of implementing global finance processes and systems
experience working in a multinational organization with a geographically dispersed workforce
excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across different levels of the organization
demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced environment
fully qualified accountant
proven experience in financial management and strategic planning
strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team

relevant degree or MAAT or CCAB qualification and / or work experience of at least equivalent level
manage a team of up to 10 FTE and oversee a staffing budget of up to £500k
experience of change management, implementing major change in a significant public sector organisation

Responsibility

to proactively identify areas of weak financial management, risks and pressures and to work with the relevant service to improve them
