Requirements

glazing: 5 years
must have social housing/council experience
must have a dull UK driving license
must be able to deal with tenants/ have social housing experience
must have Glazing experience
measure for replacement glass both single and double glazed panes
full UK Driving License - Mobile Role
fit both single pane and double glazed panes
identify, replace or repair multipoint locking mechanisms, handles and hinges to both UPVC and composite doors
replace or repair casement handles, locking mechanisms and friction stays
carry out minor plastic repairs including cleaning and buffing to UPVC profiles and cills
replace bubble or wedge gaskets and beads to both aluminium and UPVC profiles
remove interior or exterior silicon sealants/trims and reseal with new trims and sealant
gain entry to euro profile cylinders by drilling/snapping
liaising with tenants on site regarding the work you are undertaking
full PPE will be required when working as a Experienced Glazier
experience working in a site management role
maintaining site facilities and all health and safety checks when working as a Experienced Glazier
SMSTS // CSCS card holder / GQA LEVEL 2 NVQ Certificate in glazing
city And Guilds and/or NVQ professional Craft level qualification in Glazing Installation

Responsibility

making sure all sub-contractors work within the required standards and adhere to general Company Policies
we are looking for a skilled and qualified Glazier to be responsible for providing a high quality, customer, and quality focused service involving measuring, installing and repairing glass in houses, shops and offices, within the London Borough of Hounslow, ensuring the correct and appropriate glass for the job is used, as well as removing old and broken panes, and ensuring glass is sealed to be watertight
ensuring all directly employed personnel work within the required standards and procedures
must be flexible with working hours
commercial Glazing knowledge
ability to engage with clients
to understand costs and help source
willing to help clients with problems, using engineering teams provided
making appointments with customers to carry out the technical survey
understanding the contract for the job and meeting with the customer to review the contract sold
documenting surveys of works to enable the preparation of orders for manufacture
liaising with the installations administration support team
brief Installers / Sub-contractors with work
monitor progress on site and complete thorough quality inspections
completing site audits, pre- and post-works
