Responsibility

  • signing visitors in and out of site
  • assisting with deliveries
  • any other duties assigned by the site manager
  • gateman/Woman required in Southampton
  • we need an experienced Gateman/Woman for a large project in the Southampton area
  • experience is required and you will need to be reliable and willing to be on site Monday to Friday every week
  • you need to following
  • full PPE
  • welcoming and directing visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel upon arrival at the construction site
  • 2 working references
  • monitoring site access points and ensuring that only authorized personnel and vehicles enter the premises
  • as a Gateman, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and safety of the site, controlling access, and directing vehicles and personnel
  • maintaining accurate records of site entry and exit, keeping track of personnel and vehicles on-site
  • assisting with the implementation of health and safety protocols and ensuring compliance at all times
  • other gateman duties as requested
  • navigating vehicles around site
  • monitoring pedestrians and vehicles entering site
  • to ensure the works are carried out in the most efficient and safe manner
  • demonstrate positive attitude and behaviour towards safety
  • follow company procedures to ensure standards are met
