  • extensive experience working on site & on large multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects

  • demonstrate the ability to work in similar positions on a Civil Engineering site

  • demonstrate an acceptable level of knowledge of how a Civil Engineering site operates in order to advise the site of the safety requirements
  • SSSTS or SMSTS

  • 3+ years of experience in a supervisory role in civil construction
  • groundworks: 3 years
  • foreman/ Supervisor: 2 years
  • experienced in delivering earthworks and drainage schemes

Responsibility

  • working for a Bristol based company that do commercial and luxury residential projects
  • main Purpose
  • getting your boots on and snagging and getting things ready for Handover, on a project in Bath
  • after this project you will be expected to move on to other Bristol and Bath projects
  • these will be commercial and Luxury residential projects
  • you must be good with people and be able to drive the trades to get the best out of them
  • finishing / Snagging foreman: £38/45k annual salary + 27 days Holiday + Christmas Bonus
  • all projects are local and the 1st one is in Bath finishing a job and snagging for handover, ideally starting in July 2023
  • attend weekly meetings
  • you will ensure site operatives complete all required documentation in line with company policies and procedure and co-ordinate and manage the work the work of subcontractors on site
  • assist Project Manager to deliver changes to the works directed by Client
  • direct, coach and support site teams on all site-related activity to meet Contractual Obligations and achieve production targets
  • the purpose of the Section Foreman role is to supervise and carry the overall responsibility for the delivery and performance of a section of construction work on a project, safely, on time and within budget
  • responsible of the contractor under CDM regulations
  • the Section Foreman will work with the Project Team to ensure the highest standards of Health, Safety and Environmental care are met and provide them with such information as is necessary to allow them to meet all statutory and legal requirements
  • manage, order and co-ordinate the delivery, storage and maintenance of all materials, plant and equipment on site
  • monitor performance metrics and implement strategies for improvement
  • conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback
  • develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance productivity
  • electrical Foreman needed for 4 weeks work at a Bio Product labs
