  • ACA / ACCA / CTA qualified or equivalent qualification
  • tax structuring helping our clients to buy and sell properties in a tax efficient manner
  • your background will be in UK Corporate Tax and you'll have corporate tax compliance and IFRS experience
  • UK corporate tax experience, ideally within the Real Estate / Not-for-Profit sector
  • tax structuring helping our clients maximise charitable exemptions via tax efficient group structures and gift aid policies
  • some VAT experience would also be highly advantageous
  • experience of monitoring junior team members' work and coaching / career development
  • working collaboratively with Partner and Director team to build relationships on key accounts
  • you'll possess the ability to clearly communicate both verbally and in writing with stakeholders of all levels
  • participate in business development initiatives and proposal activity
  • tax compliance advising our clients about on-going tax requirements
  • you'll be a qualified Chartered Accountant and / or Tax Advisor with practice or industry experience
  • CTA qualified
  • technically proficient with tax accounting and tax audits
  • experienced with a proven ability to interpret and apply existing and new tax law
  • A self-motivated and proactive individual
  • A team player who is approachable, inclusive, and able to inspire others

Responsibility


  • liaising with specialists in other departments and overseas offices to monitor their input into tax advisory projects
  • managing aspects of the team's performance and operations including resourcing
  • pursuing opportunities for new work and participating with Directors and Partners in business development activities
  • managing the successful delivery of excellent technical advice including refinancing, tax structuring, tax authority enquiries and providing support to the wider corporate tax team
  • working as a member of the team to provide international and complex UK tax advisory services to support clients achieving commercial objectives
