Responsibility

  • follow instructions from supervisors and more experienced workers to complete assigned tasks
  • maintain a clean and organized work area
  • adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines on the job site
  • assist in the setup and cleanup of construction sites
  • post installation
  • assist in the effective health & safety, quality assurance and compliance with relevant regulations in the the delivery of projects
  • maintain a good working relationship with colleagues and peers, reflecting Bennamann values
  • proactive member of motivated and engaging team
  • assist with the development of Bennamann products and manufacture, construction and installation both in the workshop and on sites around Cornwall, Devon and beyond
  • work sites are predominantly based on highways structures ie bridges
  • the works are carried out predominantly at night time, because road closures are generally only available during night time hours
  • the works predominantly involve the maintenance and replacement of bridge expansion joints
  • the works are NOT seasonal and are all year round
  • night time shifts are not exclusively available and when required, day time shifts will be completed in the office/warehouse facility
  • use of stihl saws on concrete, steel and asphalt road surfaces
  • use of pneumatic breakers on concrete and/or asphalt
  • use of bitumen boilers and mechanical mixers
  • follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
  • we are looking to take on an experienced full time skilled labourer. Agreed day rate will depend on skill and experience
