Responsibility


  • prepare and co-ordinate monthly board reporting for CFO and CRO
  • continuously develop and improve quality of analysis provided by FP&A
  • assist in the ongoing implementation of new tools / analysis to drive profitable decisions
  • ad-hoc support on M&A
  • financial modelling and business case development and improving current modelling
  • coaching younger members of the team
  • KPI reporting and the development of appropriate KPIs in conjunction with other key stakeholders suitable to drive the business
  • support reports across financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards
  • manage annual budgeting and monthly re-forecasting process for all Channels and cost centres
  • highlight key risks and opportunities to explain significant variances across channels
  • assist Head of Finance with monthly/quarterly reports for C-suite and the Board
  • to lead a team of financial professional in the provision of financial support to a designated PBU to support the delivery of an approved financial plan
  • HR and Personnel staff
  • ensuring proposals meet both the firm's and the client's values, and that proposals help to build on the firm's strategy
  • designing and creating targeted, effective, and collaborative training solutions to upskill stakeholders in pricing, commerciality, confidence, value, profitability and recovery improvement
  • embed focussed reporting across the Firm's matrix to raise awareness of Client and Matter profitability - this will include concise financial analysis presented to a high standard , and provide advice in relation to potential areas of improvement
  • collaborating with partners and the Client Management Team to maximise the value of client relationships, primarily those within our Key Client and Sector growth client programmes
  • preparing regular financial analysis and commentary for key sectors and clients, and providing advice in relation to potential areas of improvement
  • working closely with Finance Business Partners, Sector Leaders, Practice Group Leaders, business support teams and the general partnership to identify gaps in training and provide outreach and support across the entire Firm
  • working closely with the Business Development Team and Partners to ensure pitch responses are profitable, commercially sound, and that fee proposals are both innovative and flexible
