Responsibility


  • reaching out to leads, via LinkedIn, email and phone, to arrange meetings for Business Development Managers
  • sales Prospecting in order to find quality leads/potential clients using internal processes and partner websites
  • organising the leads on spreadsheets and finding suitable contacts for each client
  • inputting of data and cross checking of leads through Client Relationship Management systems
  • pre-qualifying leads and sufficiently preparing Business Develop Manager for meetings booked
  • working closely with Business Development Manager to identify long term prospecting strategy for targeting clients
  • devise, develop and implement the business development strategy for the group in line with the overall business objectives
  • establish relationships with new clients, Main Contractors and End Users to secure new contracts
  • establish KPIs to track the success of strategic and business development initiatives
  • use industry knowledge to understand a client’s needs and provide technical solutions and suggestions
  • attend key networking events and develop new business opportunities
  • design and implement sales strategy which aligns with existing company growth plans
  • identify and evaluate potential new opportunities and provide suitable recommendations to boost sales/ increase market share
  • structure and manage the existing team of business development executives
  • this is a new business focused role with key objectives to develop relationships with new and existing clients
  • the Business Development Director will report directly to the VP responsible for this Government Sector
  • developing business and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clients
  • working closely with both sales and delivery teams to ensure opportunities for new business are realised
  • ensuring the quality of services delivered to their assigned clients
  • participating in the delivery of client engagements
